Goethe Zertificat tests for German Language
Regardless of citizenship, anyone who is interested may take the Goethe-Institut Language Test. They are designed to gauge the students’ proficiency and knowledge of German as a second language. The entire world accepts their tests. You can take these exams and use the results as proof of your qualifications for work or school.
Candidates up to the age of 16 can take exams in addition to adults.
The assessments for adult applicants are audited by the Association of Language Testers in Europe (ALTE). They also obtained the Q-Mark certification of quality. These tests match the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) language levels, which range from A1 to C2.
Level A1: You can give directions and pose straightforward questions both orally and in writing. Your vocabulary and fundamental grammar abilities get better.
Level A2: You gain the ability to read and understand straightforward materials as well as interact well with others in social settings.
Level B1: You improve your ability to take the initiative in conversation while reviewing and reinforcing fundamental grammatical concepts.
Level B2: Your command of the language’s fundamentals is strong. Reading, writing, and speaking on challenging subjects and business-related difficulties gives you experience
Level C1: You gain the knowledge and abilities required to comprehend practically all texts and to express yourself clearly in both oral and written form on a range of subjects.
Level C2: You have perfect command of the German language. You focus on subjects in literature, politics, science, and culture.
