IELTS writing - body paragraph
In IELTS writing part two you are asked to write an essay the essay has four parts the introduction, two body paragraph and the conclusion. The number of body paragraph can also be one but in order to get a good score it is always better to write two body paragraphs.
In order to get a band 8 you should address all parts of the task and well develop them. Respond to the question and support your ideas. The meaning of this is your ideas must actually relate, or should be linked to the question and then you have to explain the meaning of your ideas and then support them with examples.
Each paragraph should have one main idea and the topic sentence tells the examiner about it. This makes your paragraph and the whole essay clear and easier to understand. You will gain marks in the IELTS writing test if it is logical and more consistent. Introduce your ideas in a very clear way there is no need to use very advanced and critical words make it simple and understandable.
Use linking words new vocabulary which means the words that are less common. There is just three simple rules in writing body paragraphs write your topic sentence and then explain it and give an example as the body paragraph constitutes to most of the essay it plays a major role in getting good or bad marks. So a good body paragraph gives you a good score in ILETS writing.
