How to book an IELTS test
To book IELTS test, the following documents are mandatory and make sure you keep them available with you to prevent delaying the process. Passport scanned copy as you have to mention the passport number and this document alone is the valid one for registration at IELTS website. It should not be expired and the candidates must be above eighteen years of age, else parent consent form and consent for minors are to be produced while entering the exam hall. After that, information for candidates’ document is to be downloaded and candidates can go through it for the sample test format. Candidates who are below sixteen years of age are not permitted for the exam and they will not be able to register in the website.
Later, check for the availability of test dates at the website either in the IDP or British council, confirm whether you have correctly clicked the academic or general module as test dates availability change with respect to the test date modules. It is highly recommended to book test before a month to confirm the seats or minimum two weeks prior to it. Finally, you can use various pay methods to pay the test fee in the IELTS websites.
